Terms & Conditions

Reservations

Reservations will be regarded as provisional until such time as payment for 1st night's accommodation is received and confirmation sent. The Pennyfarthing Hotel reserve the right to re-allocate or cancel rooms held only on a provisional basis as required.

By proceeding with your reservation or when using any facilities at 296-298 High Street Berkhamsted HP4 1AH you agree to be bound by all terms and conditions.

All parking and use of facilities at and through The Pennyfarthing Hotel are entirely at owners risk and no liability can be accepted any loss or damage .

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to 12 noon on the date of arrival. Cancellations made after this time will be charged for in full. PLEASE BE AWARE THIS INCLUDES AMENDING DEPARTURE DATES PRIOR TO AND DURING STAY.  OBTAINING A CANCELLATION NUMBER IS VITAL AS refunds will be made only once a cancellation number is issued and only to the card initially charged.

Complaints Policy

All letters of complaint (post, email or fax) will be investigated and answered with in twelve working days.

Payment

Payment accepted by Cash, Cheque with valid guarantee card, Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta, Eurocard. Only Visa and MasterCard can be accepted for the purchase of rooms online. In order to confirm reservations the first nights accommodation will be deducted from credit card details supplied (it is important billing address supplied match card details).

Prices

Prices include Room, Breakfast and VAT (value added tax) at the current prevailing rate. The Pennyfarthing Hotel reserves the right to amend any prices or special offers, at any time, without prior notice.

Checking In & Out

Check In time is 2pm on the day of arrival. Please advise us if you require an earlier check in time and we will try to accommodate you. Check Out time is 10am on the morning of departure unless special arrangements have been made, an extra nights accommodation will be charged for late departures.

Special Arrangements

If you have any special requests, please advise the duty receptionist prior to your arrival, so that we have time to make whatever preparations are required.
